A fatal two-vehicle collision on the Princes Freeway at Moe has claimed one life and left another person with life-threatening injuries, prompting a major overnight emergency response and police investigation.
Emergency services were called to the Princes Freeway in Moe, in Victoria’s Latrobe Valley, at approximately 8:10 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, after reports that two vehicles had collided. Police confirmed that the driver of one vehicle, who has not yet been formally identified, died at the scene.
The driver of the second vehicle sustained life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to hospital for urgent medical treatment. Authorities have not released further information about that person’s identity or current condition.
